Team Arcis was founded in 2012 by four passionate aeromodelling enthusiasts—Ankit Jain, Anuj Sharma, Ankur Kislaya, and Ribhu Taneja—at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering in Bangalore. Their vision was to create a platform for students to innovate, design, and compete in aeronautical challenges, ultimately bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world engineering. They embraced an enlightened approach to aeromodelling, where technical expertise, creativity, and teamwork drive success. Starting with an initial team of 16 members, Team Arcis has since expanded to a 34-member ensemble comprising students from various branches and years of study.
